Individualized Compassionate Client Driven Approach
Personal Profile
Focused on Your Child’s Happiness

Your child is the center of your world, and at Summit Therapies, they’re ours, too.
Rather than a cookie-cutter approach to therapy for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental needs, we work with families to build a personalized treatment plan, with services like:
What does that look like? It’s different for everyone, and that’s the idea. Our clinicians meet your child – and your family – wherever they’re at, finding their happy place before moving onto new skills and working through challenges.

What Makes Summit Therapies Center
Different From Other ABA Centers?
Family Centered Care
A child's development in ABA therapy is not a solitary journey; it thrives on the love, support, and active participation of their family. From the outset, our teams assist families throughout the therapy process, ensuring they feel knowledgeable, empowered, and prepared to support their child's journey with autism. This support includes:
-
Tailored guidance for families
-
Transparent communication
-
Assessments centered around the family
When families flourish, children do as well. At Summit Therapies, we are dedicated to fostering this success every day. Discover more about how we collaborate with families to achieve lasting outcomes.

Compassionate and
Individualized
At Summit Therapies, "compassionate care" is not just a catchphrase; it is the cornerstone of our philosophy. Our team is dedicated to delivering care that is effective while also being safe, kind, respectful, and sensitive to each child's individual needs.
Through innovative methods like the Happy, Relaxed, and Engaged (HRE) model, here’s how we define care at Summit Therapies:
-
We listen. Every child has a voice, and we invest time in understanding their preferences and emotions.
-
We build trust. Strong relationships are essential for progress, so we emphasize connection over mere "correction."
-
We eliminate barriers. Whether it’s sensory sensitivities or communication challenges, we provide the necessary support to help children advance at their own pace.
-
We prioritize what matters. Your child’s happiness and well-being are our top priorities—true growth occurs when they feel valued.
Honoring the Individuals
We honor each child for their unique qualities and believe that their individuality is something to be celebrated! Our goal is to empower our children to lead happier and more independent lives while embracing their personal strengths.
This involves:
-
Enhancing communication skills
-
Cultivating daily living abilities
-
Fostering social interactions
-
Minimizing frustrations and challenging behaviors
-
Providing time and space for healthy self-regulation
Every child deserves to feel supported and appreciated. At Summit Therapies, we are dedicated to helping them flourish as their authentic selves, rather than changing who they are.
Learning Through Play
Independence starts with self-advocacy. People of all ages should feel heard, valued and in control of their own experiences, no matter their abilities. Summit Therapies prioritizes autonomy rather than simply following directions without question.
Self-advocacy starts with giving children the tools to communicate in a way that works for them. Traditional therapy models have focused on compliance in the past, but Hopebridge feels strongly about a different approach. Services like ABA and speech-language therapy focus on:
– Helping kids express wants and needs
– Recognizing emotions and self-regulation
– Teaching self-advocacy and choice
Every child deserves a voice—and we’re here to help them use it.
School Readiness
Success in school goes beyond knowing letters and numbers. Our center-based, interdisciplinary model helps prepare children for success and confidence in the classroom by working on:
– Staying seated or in an assigned area during circle time
– Paying attention and responding to teachers
– Social and play skills
– Following directions and completing basic work or tasks independently
– Learning in a group setting
– Being aware of personal space and body awareness
– Self care skills (e.g. using the restroom, washing hands, feeding self)
– Eating lunch around others
– Playing cooperatively and interacting with peers
– Lining up, unpacking a backpack and following general classroom routines

Not every child will follow the same school timeline or benefit from the same type of classroom. Our goal is to help each child reach their fullest potential at their own pace, with the support they need to thrive.
We’re not just getting kids ready for school, we’re preparing them for lifelong learning.
